This week’s spotlight focuses on a mixed RS3 – OSRS clan, and the interview was answered by both of the owners TitaniumRose |RS3| and xTYL3Rx |OSRS|. Noobs with Keyboards or NoobsWKBDS is a new clan perfect for scapers who enjoy both OSRS and RS3!
What inspired you to start your own clan in OSRS?
TitaniumRose: I started playing OSRS back about 15 years ago, I never fully got into it until around August of 2023 when I gave Rs3 a try, I was invited to join a clan and eventually made my way onto staff there and was hooked! I love building the friendships and the community that we can be proud of. I ultimately created my own clan because I had a very specific image in mind of what I wanted my clan to look like and you know what they say, “If you want it done right ya gotta do it yourself”. I owe the success of our Rs3 clan to the team though, we wouldn’t be here today and starting our journey of creating our OSRS clan without them!
xTYL3Rx; I started playing OSRS in 2007 with friends from middle school, but I stopped playing before OSRS was re-released. I recently started playing Runescape again in 2024, and developed many meaningful relationships while playing RS3 but after researching OSRS and RuneLite integration, I fell in love with Old School Runescape all over again! Playing Runescape brings me so much joy and nostalgia; I was inspired to partner with TitaniumRose to branch into the OSRS community to bring everything we have to offer into the Old School branch of Runescape!
What differentiates your clan from other clans in OSRS?
We are an all-inclusive clan that strives to be the very best active clan with weekly, monthly, and pop-up events for skilling, bossing, minigames, and much more to come! We are focused on bringing back the social aspect of the game that existed so many years ago during 2007scape! We also try to focus on the gaming community as a whole and encourage our members to play other games together! We have even held some small clan events for games like Among Us and Party Animals! As a team we work to bring the community together between RS3 and OSRS so not only does our discord house channels that everyone can chat in we also have a friends chat that connects the two clans!.
How would you describe the overall culture and atmosphere of your clan?
We strive to make this the most laid back and all inclusive environment possible. Everyone is very caring and willing to help when needed. RuneScape is an escape, no one wants to deal with drama and toxicity when trying to get away and enjoy a game.
What types of events and activities does your clan regularly host?
Skill & Boss of the month, with more to come for OSRS. For RS3 we also have a Skill and Boss of the month but we also do a monthly minigame focus, trivia, bingo, fashionscape and much more!
What events you haven’t done already but are eager to host in the future?
This is our Vision: “No limits. We don’t decide on events. You do. Weekly Discord Polls on what events you want to see. This is your clan, we’re just helping take care of it along with you”.
We aren’t just friends, but family. We want to be the true face of how an OSRS clan should be. Having fun, Socializing, & Weekly Events. If you remember the clans back in the day, we are bringing it back, WITH FULL FORCE. We are the true OSRS clan you have been waiting for! Castle Wars, Soul Wars, Fishing Trawler, Bossing, Skilling; this clan has and will have NO limits. Join us and feel that true nostalgia again with a family of friends.

What’s the biggest drama or conflict you’ve had to deal with as a clan owner, and how did you resolve it?
As with all online games, you will witness to some degree drama and trolling. Our staff team overall is very committed to keeping this out of the clan and are in constant talk with each other, through our discord, to resolve situations as quickly as possible. We pride ourselves on making meaningful relationships with everyone in our clan so that they are comfortable coming to us with any problems they may have so we can work as a team to help them.
What’s the most wholesome moment you’ve witnessed in your clan?
Any time a seasoned member steps up to help someone figuring out the game is a good day. We want everyone to enjoy the game to the fullest and it is so nice to see members helping out their fellow clannies to reach their goals.
What are some of the biggest changes you’ve implemented in the clan over time?
I strongly believe that clans as a whole should always strive to do and be better. For us the biggest changes so far have been implementing things like our Mentor program which awards members and guests with extensive knowledge of the game for the help they provide the clan on a daily basis. We are always looking for suggestions from our clan members on what changes we can make for them to have the best experience possible and to feel at home!
How do you handle recruitment and ensure new members fit well with the clan’s culture?
When recruiting, we like to focus on quality active members over quantity (vex-slapping). We want members who will uplift and build our community!
Striking up conversations in public chat while skilling, PvMing, or attending minigames!
It is also in our plans to host trivia and other social events to get the community involved as well, and offer a warm welcome to respectable players that are interested in joining in on the fun, whether it be as a guest or member.
What has been the most rewarding aspect of being a clan owner for you personally?
TitaniumRose: Watching our clan grow and the friendships that have been made has been amazing! I love logging on and seeing members bossing, skilling and just hanging out together as well as the constant activity in our discord and voice chat! Seeing my original vision come together and surpass my expectations has meant more to me than I could ever express!
xTYL3Rx: Building great friendships and relationships while playing the game I love and providing a safe space for ANYONE.
