OSRS Clan Spotlight, Team Paradox

Old School RuneScape clans have been an unofficial thing for as long as the game existed, but in 2021 Jagex made it official and introduced the new clan system. While there are various platforms where you can find OSRS clans if you want to join one, this new OSRS Clan Spotlight series will bring you a different insight into what to expect from some of the top OSRS clans, with unique interviews with the clan leadership.

What inspired you to start your own clan in OSRS?

It was hard for me to find that right clan to call “home”. I kept jumping from clan to clan and it didn’t feel right. Team Paradox has been open and closed since 2014, 2019 being the last time it was opened. I started to remember memories from when i first joined the clan back in 2017ish. So i messaged some of the old clan members that were in the clan previously and it just took off from there.

What differentiates your clan from other clans in OSRS?

Legacy of Excellence: Established in 2014, with a reputation for helping players grow and conquer. Inclusive Community: We focus on collaboration, not competition. Whether you’re a veteran or a newcomer, you’ll find support and friendship.

Global Reach: Join players from around the world in our safe and active Discord. Idle, chat, and learn in a vibrant environment.

Exclusive Events: More than just the standard clan activities—expect unique challenges that push your skills and teamwork to new heights.

Mentorship: Our experienced players don’t just teach; they guide you to become a leader in your own right.

Structured Ranks: Our well-defined ranking system ensures that dedication and skill are recognized and rewarded.

What types of events and activities does your clan regularly host?

We’ve only been reopened little over a month now, but since then we’ve hosted our first Tic Tac Toe (which was as great success, everyone enjoyed it) our next TTT or Bingo of sort is going to be in November. But we do Boss of the week, Friday is Bandos mass day, Saturday we throw in a random event like raids or something just to fill the day with a event. But we are going to try something different and Poll 3 activities on a Sunday and host it on Saturday after people vote. Sunday Corp (which we got a arcane sigil, and a pet). And were always discussing ideas on fun events to come up with not just for the weekend but weekdays too.

How do you handle recruitment and ensure new members fit well with the clan’s culture?

I always check in with new and even older members, asking how their doing irl and in game, and I try to encourage them to use our Discord to find groups to boss with, I tell them to join up on our events. For instance, Sunday Corp, that event keeps attracting more and more people. We all hop in vc and have a good time. i encourage people to hop in vc even tho they cant talk so we all can vibe and have a good time and laugh.

What’s the best way for players interested in joining your clan to contact you?

They can join our Discord or add me and we can chat privately ‘parkdillon1’
