While there are plenty of ways to earn GP in Old School RuneScape, these are the daily actions you can do to gain some GP or save some GP, also called dailies or daily activities. They are time limited and they are often very fast and should take only a few minutes to perform. However, many of them are locked behind specific skills, quests, and diaries requirements. You should aim to eventually include some of the most profitable or effortless in a daily run because they bring a consistent and almost effortless income or other benefits!

Dailies in Leagues?

While some are not ironman friendly, other daily activities are must do for ironman account, and even if you don’t actively play an iron, keep in mind that Leagues 5, (Raging Echoes League) is coming and we’ll all play as irons there, so some of these are invaluable!

Brewing

Profit: 10k – 600kDuration: up to two minutes / day

To start brewing efficiently in OSRS you will need four quests:

  • Ghosts Ahoy
  • The Giant Dwarf
  • Cabin Fever
  • Children of the Sun

Besides the completed quests you will also need a cooking level specific to the ale you’re brewing, varying from a minimum of level 14 Cooking to level 59 Cooking.

The profit per day can range from about 10k to 600k depending on luck (if you get the mature version) and on which ale you’re brewing.

Battlestaffs

Profit: 10k – 120kDuration: up to 30 seconds / day

With various tiers of the Varrock diary completed you’ll be able to buy 15, 30, 60, or 120 battlestaffs from Zaff, located in the Varrock square, every day. Simply teleport to Varrock, enter Zaff’s house, right click buy, press 1 to confirm, then teleport to the GE and sell for a small instant profit.

Collect Dynamite

Profit: 10k – 50kDuration: around 30 seconds daily

With various tiers of the Kourend and Kebos diary completed you can claim your free dynamite daily. Thirus will give you 20, 40, or 80 free dynamite every day which you can stack up in your bank or instatly sell on the GE for some profit. Simply use the Xeric’s inferno teleport on your Xeric’s talisman, then run north and collect the dynamite.

Herb run

Profit: 10k – 500k / runDuration: 6-7 minutes best optimization for all patches every 80 minutes

Herb runs are more complex activities, but they are a great source of income or herbs regardless of your account type. The profit can range based on your Farming level, seeds used, and how many patches you use. Here’s the official herb run profit calculator where you can input your personalized data and find out what to expect in terms of profit. How long it takes you to complete a herb run depends on how many patches you use and how optimized your run is.

Fruit tree run / Coconut run

Profit: +-100kDuration: 2-3 minutes every 5 hours

Fruit tree run, or once you reach level 68 Farming, Coconut run means going to all of the available fruit tree patches where you have previously planted palms and picking up the 6 fruits each tree gives. Using all of the patches at level 85 Farming, you’ll get a total of 36 coconuts per run, which sell for over 100k on the GE. You don’t need to plant a different tree since it will keep producing and you’ll be able to get 6 coconuts every time.

Bird house run

Profit: 20k – 150kDuration: up to two minutes every 50 minutes

You can do birdhouse runs as often as every 50 minutes. They will give you bird nests which are useful both as an ironman and main. You’ll profit an average of 50k per run at lower Hunter levels and around 100k per run at high hunter levels. You’ll be able to do it after unlocking the Fossil island through the Bon Voyage Quest.

Collecting Herb boxes from the Nightmare Zone

Profit: around 200kDuration: up to 1 minute, daily

This is a quick one, but it cannot be used by ironman. However, you’ll need to afk prep for it by gaining NMZ points beforehand. Check out this quick load guide on how to do it. Once you have enouph points simply use them as a daily source of income, and with nowadays herb prices it’s fully worth it. Make sure you have 15 free inventory slots, teleport to the Nightmare zone using the grouping teleport, click on the chest, and buy all of the herb boxes you can (15). Go back to a bank, open the bank interface and right click the boxes to open them and wait for the process to end, then enjoy your profits! This shouldn’t take you longer than 2 minutes and should give you 200k worth of herbs.

Sand from Bert

Profit: 1kDuration: none, 1 minute to initially set up

After the Hand in the Sand quest speak to Bert to instruct him to send you free buckets of sand every day. Not a huge value for a main, but huge for irons looking to train crafting without mining sandstone.

Pure Essence from Wizard Cromperty

Profit: 250 gpDuration: 1 minute a day

Similarly, the pure essence you can collect every day in Ardougne from Wizard Cromperty is not a treasure, but for an iron, and possibly in Leagues, it will be huge.

Bonemeal and Slime from Robin

Profit: other benefitsDuration: up to 4 minutes / day

Exchanging bones for bonemeal and slime at Robin is another activity you should consider doing daily, at least for periods of time. While not directly giving you a profit you can instantly sell on the GE, this daily will save you some GP you’d otherwise spend on training Prayer and it will keep your Bonecrusher charged so you get even more Prayer XP passively.

Ogre arrows from Rantz

Profit: 4k-25kDuration: 30 seconds

Theis one is not of a huge value, but since they’re super fast, you might as well do it, especially if you completed the highest tier of the Western province diary. Use fairy ring AKS then run to Rantz and collect your arrows.

Free runes from Lundail

Profit: 2k-12kDuration: 2-3 minutes a day

Finally, this might be more useful for irons than mains, but you can get some free runes from Lundail. You’ll have to take a rather long route through the deep level Wilderness and the profit is not huge.
